Jesus

Jesus had no servants, yet they called Him Master.
Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher.
Had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer.
He had no army, yet kings feared him.
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world.
He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him.
He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us.

In the Bible, Jesus says..."If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my Father in Heaven."

 

Weekly Prayer

"Lord, I know that many times I'm what the kids refer to as "old school". I like that, it means I stick to my guns, follow time honored traditions and I am not easily swayed by every new fad and trend that comes along. Still, I like to have an open mind and I know You often place new opportunities and changes before me. Help me to know Your will and when it comes to new things, don't let me be afraid or stubborn when You bring "new school" things into my life. I ask this in Jesus' Holy Name. Amen."
